Established as a sole proprietor business in 1995, our journey began in a home office in Mulberry, KS. Fueled by passion and a single D7E dozer, our founders, Kim and Craig Spencer, were the driving force behind the business. Kim seamlessly managed the administrative side, while Craig skillfully operated the equipment. Together, they laid the foundation for what would become a legacy in the industry.

 

In July 2001, recognizing the need for expansion, Double S Dirt Works, Inc. was officially established as a corporation in the state of Missouri. What initially began with small-scale farm conservation projects rapidly evolved into a thriving enterprise that now specializes in commercial and industrial projects.

 

Today, headquartered in Liberal, Missouri, our operations extend across the four-state area and beyond. With a proven track record of delivering exceptional results, our commitment to quality workmanship has solidified our reputation as one of the region's premier contractors.

Our full-service capabilities encompass site grading and excavating, underground utility installations, land clearing, and the construction of environmental flood control structures.
